Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety disorders are treated with the two-pronged approach of behaviorism and psychodynamic therapy. When the stage is properly set, then individuals may be ready to do some exposures, i.e., approach the triggering stimuli. It may take time, but people generally respond well; that is, what was once fear of worry, becomes “concern.” Progress. It is all about shifting one’s perspective. Shifting to the relaxed position of, “Fuck it; I don’t care; I’m going for it.” This is not a reckless place at all. This comes from a strongly positioned center. And then, one can respond. I hope to help you find that center.
